Fall 2025 Rough Cuts Features
Eight-Hand Jig by MC Crosby
“Women have never owned their bodies. Can a dancing Irish banshee banish the patriarchy?” Imagine square dancing, but better: that is an Irish Ceili, folk dancing with partners and prances. Within this framework, we learn the O’Malley family history, both in 2035 Chicago, and 1701 Dublin, complete with Irish mythological banshees and one-eyed hares.
the furries and their friends by Katie Kirk
On the hottest week of the summer, everyone's wearing shorts, bikinis, and...fursuits? At the year's largest furry convention, a group of people (plus one hand puppet) confront their own relationships to autonomy and belonging.
We Should All Have a Deep Appreciation for Sunshine by Roni Ragone
We Should All Have a Deep Appreciation for Sunshine is a celebration of community, learning to let go, and snacks. A lot of snacks. ERNEST and MAX challenge the idea that once a person is gone, our relationships have nowhere to grow-- JONI discovers corruption in the church!
"You're Going to Feel a Little Pressure" by Jordyn Stoessel
In Carroll County Tennessee, you have to make your own fun. For Annie and Kathryn, that means excursions with their lifelike silicone dolls and gab sessions with AI Chatbots. When an unplanned pregnancy pops their synthetic bubble, Annie and Kathryn must choose between escapism and their isolated realities.
Shooters by Charlie Tynan
After being acquitted of all charges in the murder of a high-profile CEO, Hugo DuBois makes a sharp pivot to OnlyFans. And, boy, does he make a killing. Shooters is a farce about political violence, sexualizing politics, and your neighbor who just started learning the flute.
